Momentum Energy Services A/S is a 100% owned subsidiary in the Momentum Energy Group
The company’s mission is based on our extensive experience and knowledge of operating wind turbines and solar plants, making us Denmark’s preferred service provider when it comes to monitoring, repair, maintenance, life extension and dismantling of wind turbines and solar plants.
This will be done by delivering best in class service, performed by the most skilled employees in the market, with strong roots and experience from the wind and solar industry.
Optimal operation of wind turbines and solar plants requires more than just working behind a computer screen – it often relies on years of practical experience in the field solving similar challenges we face every day.
Nationwide service
With a stated goal of reaching every wind turbine and solar installation in Denmark within one hour, we are now a nationwide company. Our +17 service vehicles, manned by teams of two experienced technicians, ensure the daily operation of more than 600 wind turbines – equivalent to every sixth wind turbine on the Danish fields. In addition, we currently also service 3 solar plants.
We are not only dedicated to keeping the plants in operation, but also to taking responsibility when their technical lifetime is over and production ceases. Here, we ensure an environmentally responsible dismantling process where we focus on reusing as many spare parts as possible. Materials such as iron, copper, fiberglass, asbestos, oil and acid are handled correctly and recycled to avoid polluting nature.
We’re there every step of the way – from cradle to grave for wind turbines and solar installations – and we do it responsibly.
The story of Momentum Energy Services
Momentum Energy Services was established in 2020 as part of Momentum Energy Group A/S’ strategy for growth within renewable energy. The company was created in connection with the acquisition of 55 wind turbines and was created to service both own and customers’ wind turbines in Denmark.
With over 150 wind turbines in the portfolio and a strong team of technicians, the foundation was laid for growth. In 2022, Windturbs ApS was acquired, adding more than 200 service contracts and significantly expanding both staff and capacity.
In 2024, Momentum Energy Services became an independent company with its own name and management. The name change from Momentum Energy Wind Services ApS to Momentum Energy Services A/S marked the company’s development and ambitions for further growth. At the same time, the activities were expanded to include servicing of photovoltaic systems, which plays an increasing role in the company’s business area.
The company aims to be among Denmark’s leading service providers in solar and wind power and, with a nationwide network, ensures that there is a maximum one-hour drive to the plants we service.
